High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee: Working for and on behalf of our members and the community, to advance, defend and strengthen the rights of all High Security Water Entitlements Holders within the Murrumbidgee Valley. For the benefit of growers, industry and the whole community.  

High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee presents the interests of the high security irrigators entitlement holders throughout the Murrumbidgee Valley. High Security Irrigators was formed out of the Murrumbidgee Horticultural Council in 2009, with an aim of focussing on water issues important to the holders of high security water entitlements holders. Our aim is to protect the reliability and value of High Security Entitlements through influencing government water planning, management and policy.

The organisation is a not-profit association, established in 1993, for the purpose of promoting the development, and sustainable management, of High Security Irrigation and the Horticultural resources of the region. High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee is the peak body for high security irrigators in the Murrumbidgee Valley, providing a policy and political voice for those who use water for commercial agricultural or horticultural purposes.

As well as advocacy and lobbying, High Security Irrigators - Murrumbidgee provides information service to its members on water related issues in New South Wales and the wider area of the Murray Darling Basin. To increase our revenue base and further our work on behalf of our members, High Security Irrigators also operates the Murrumbidgee Water Exchange. Discounted trading fees are available to all current members, along with advice and assistance on water trading activites. 

Offices are based in Griffith, at the heart of the dynamic Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area of NSW.

High Security Irrigators Murrumbidgee enables irrigators to have a voice on issues that directly affect them.
